What student's say about Ellie-

"Ellie is a terrific vocal teacher because she takes a gentle, integrative approach in a nurturing and encouraging environment. She caters to the particular needs and style of each student, treating them as an individual." Kevin K. Actor

"Ellie is deeply knowledgable about vocal instruction and remarkably pleasant to work with. She taught my whole family: daughter (who needed help projecting), son (through his change from pre-changed voice to deep resonant bass and studying music in college), spouse (now singing opera) and me (learning to sing lead). That's quite a range of needs and learning styles, all of which she handled beautifully. She is eclectic and open-minded in her musical tastes and I have attended a half dozen or so of her studio's recitals and she and her students do exceptional work. I've also had the pleasure of singing with her and her talent for performance is just as wonderful as her talent for teaching. She really really knows her stuff. I'm a fan---you will be, too!" Michael L. Professor Brown University

"My son began working with Ellie on vocal performance as a freshman in high school. Ellie was highly recommended by another music professional. Ellie realized his potential, endorsed and encouraged his involvement in many venues, including opera, All State Chorus and Westminster Choir College. She not only helped him develop his instrument, but she understood how to connect to him emotionally to optimize his training and skill. He now studies vocal performance at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers. Her skilled direction and insight was key and instrumental to this result. I couldn't recommend her more highly." Claudia H. Senior Medical Director at Horizon

"Highest possible recommendation. Ellie is an outstanding technician, coach, teacher, and mentor. You can hear the difference that each lesson makes.
She has a lovely way with students and is loaded with positive energy, and was great at pulling my shy, quiet daughters out of their shells and getting them to put it all on the line.
I just can't say enough good things about her. A once-in-a-lifetime teacher." Eric S. Mgr IT at AiG

"Ellie is one of a kind! She is as exquisite an educator as she is a talented musician. Her vivacious energy is contagious and is fundamental to a successful teacher. It certainly makes her stand out far above the rest. Her lessons are well-crafted and challenging, and she is determined to get the best out of you, but her encouraging and patient demeanor that complements these effective methods are what helped me to foster a sincere passion for and dedication to the study of music -- and the German language! As a teenager in high school, I looked to her as a mentor both in and out of the studio. She is a fine choice for students of any age and skill level." Anna C. Marketing Strategist at Forbes
